Design Inspiration

Acid house started in Chicago, with a misused bass machine and a handful of records that sounded like nothing before them: raw, repetitive and slightly unhinged. By 1988 that sound had crossed the Atlantic and taken hold in dark rooms across the UK.

ACID DROP leaves out the smileys and leans on the type. The word is pulled apart and rebuilt, in black and white only, to capture the sound rather than the souvenir. Wear it to a club night, a record shop dig or a DJ set, or just layer it up when the weather turns.
